Infinite Consulting is seeking a Cloud Administrator for our esteemed Federal Government Client. This is a long term contract with 12 months initial term and 2x12 months options to extend, based on funding and approval.
About the role
As a Cloud Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity, performance, and security of cloud-based systems. This position requires a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Investigate and troubleshoot issues related to AWS cloud infrastructure; monitor the performance of cloud systems, proactively identifying and addressing any performance bottlenecks or issues.
- Contribute to discussions requiring expert advice on cloud infrastructure and related technologies.
- Maintain and administer Linux servers, ensuring their stability, security and optimising performance in a cloud environment.
- Configure and provide advice on Cloudflare configuration to optimize performance and enhance security.
Essential Role Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in AWS Cloud Administration with expertise in: AWS services, API Gateway, Lambda, S3, IAM, EC2, CloudFormation, SQS & SNS.
- Demonstrated experience in Linux Administration with proven experience in: System configuration, troubleshooting and performance optimisation, automation experience using tools such as Ansible.
- Demonstrated experience in at least one of the following: Utilising Cloudflare’s security services to secure web applications and caching features, Integrating Salesforce with AWS environments and Amazon Connect, managing either a Splunk or Elastic cluster in a production environment.
