Woolpert, a leading architecture, engineering, and geospatial (AEG) firm, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Field Sales Manager to join our Google® Cloud Sales Team and lead our efforts in delivering top-tier cloud solutions to our diverse clientele.
In this role, you will drive revenue growth for Woolpert Digitial Innovations by leveraging Google Cloud technologies across North America. As a Field Sales Manager, you will lead a team of high-performing FSR’s who are responsible for sourcing and closing GCP opportunities with prospects and customers by simplifying complex technology for non-technical prospects and delivering transformative solutions.
Job Overview
The Field Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to promote Google® Cloud solutions. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of cloud technologies and the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of sales success, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for driving growth in a technology-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive Google® Cloud adoption. Identify market opportunities, create sales plans, and set goals to achieve revenue targets.
Client Engagement: Build and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in client organizations. Understand their needs and challenges to provide tailored Google® Cloud solutions that address their requirements.
Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure their success. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.
Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape. Use this information to adjust sales strategies and tactics to stay ahead in the market.
Solution Selling: Work closely with clients to understand their business objectives and technical requirements. Demonstrate how Google® Cloud solutions can drive efficiency, scalability, and innovation to achieve their business objectives.
Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics. Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on sales activities, progress, and achievements.
Collaboration: Partner with internal teams, including marketing, product management, and technical support, to ensure a seamless client experience and successful implementation of Google® Cloud solutions.
Negotiation and Closing: Lead negotiations and contract discussions with clients to secure new business and drive revenue growth. Ensure favorable terms for both the client and the company.
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales, with a strong background in cloud technologies and sales team management. Previous experience in the Google® Cloud ecosystem is highly desirable.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business preferred. An MBA or other relevant advanced degree is a plus.
Certifications: Relevant Google® Cloud certifications are highly preferred.

Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
Strong understanding of Google® Cloud products and services, including their application in the multiple industries.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Ability to lead and motivate a sales team effectively.
Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using CRM and sales analytics tools.
